Enroll at Cape Club Canine with a Meet And Greet

To enroll in daycare and boarding, we require a meet and greet to evaluate your dog’s behavior and see how they might adapt to a daycare environment.

(If you are already enrolled, log in to Paw Partner to schedule daycare or boarding)

Meet and Greet Phase One

When you arrive, a staff member will greet you and take your dog to the yard while you complete the necessary paperwork in your car. During this phase, we gradually introduce your dog to others outside and monitor their behavior and interactions as more dogs join the group. Once everyone is outside and all interactions appear positive, a staff member will return to collect your paperwork and discuss how your dog did. They will also let you know if we should proceed with the second phase that day or schedule it for another visit.

Meet and Greet Phase Two

If all goes well in Phase One, we recommend you leave your dog for a half-day (4 hours) to observe their routine with the other dogs and further acclimate to the environment and staff.

After the meet and greet, we’ll send you a welcome letter with details on rates, frequently asked questions, and information on accessing your profile for booking daycare, boarding, grooming, and more.

What if the staff recommends doing Phase Two on a different day?

If our team suggests postponing Phase Two, it’s not a negative indication. Some dogs can feel nervous in a new environment filled with unfamiliar dogs and people. This initial anxiety can be overwhelming. Scheduling the second phase for a later date allows your dog to acclimate to the daycare atmosphere and recognize it as a safe and enjoyable place.

What vaccinations are required to schedule a meet and greet?

We require Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies vaccinations provided before the appointment. Additionally, if your town mandates it under the new Ollie’s Law, please provide proof of town registration.
