Frequently Asked Questions about Dog Boarding at Cape Club Canine
What should I bring when boarding my dog?
You should bring your dog’s food, any necessary medications, a favorite blanket or bed, and toys for comfort. If your dog requires special items, feel free to bring them along.
We also recommend bringing a little extra food/medication just to be on the safe side!
Will my dog be socialized with other dogs during their stay?
Yes! All boarding dogs participate in daycare activities throughout the day, allowing for social interaction and playtime with other dogs, ensuring they have a fun and engaging experience.
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
We offer flexible drop-off and pick-up during all business hours: Monday–Friday (6 AM – 7 PM) and Saturday (9 AM – 4 PM, seasonally).
Outside of these hours, we provide weekend and holiday windows from 8 AM – 10 AM and 3 PM – 6 PM. Please note that drop-offs before 4:00 PM or pick-ups after 11:00 AM will incur an additional daycare charge.
What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will not incur any additional fee, but deposits are non-refundable.
How do you handle feeding and medication for my dog?
We can accommodate your dog’s specific feeding schedule and dietary needs. Please provide food and clear instructions for any medications required during their stay, and our staff will ensure they receive everything on time.
Can I bring treats for my dog to enjoy during their stay?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring their favorite treats, and we also have a selection of treats available. With your permission, we’ll be happy to offer them as well!
